The Publix warehouse that supplies our local Publix has had all but 2 employees out with covid.
Those 2 employees have been working 7 days a wk, 20 hours a day to get the trucks and supplies to the stores. The trucks have been about 6 hours late.
The latest problem: Publix can not get the supplies. There is nothing to send to the warehouse and nothing to send to the stores.
The store employees were instructed to fill the gaps with whatever they could, even if it meant product was only one deep. They can no longer do it.
