of course he can leave. he's already been asked to leave. but he wants to get in to "play tennis". so he has hired a team of expensive lawyers to argue about it in court so he can get in. however he filled in the paperwork wrong and got the wrong visa and didn't have a medical exemption. so he ain't getting in. seems very unlikely that a court would say "okay you can come in since you is rich and famous but don't have the right paperwork". courts and judges like paperwork, so him getting the paperwork wrong and visa wrong is a fatal mistake for his hopes of entering Australia.

its a quarantine hotel so if there was muslims there they won't be able to just go to his room and kill him. they would have to stay in their own rooms. if he was really afraid of being murdered he could just get on a plane and fly back to Serbia. it's not like he is required to stay in Australia. he wants to enter the country which is why he is still here. too bad for him he got the wrong visa and wrong paperwork and won't be allowed in. maybe the billionaire tennis star should of hired a lawyer to make shore the paperwork was correct before coming here???? instead he got himself wrong paperwork and won't be allowed in, and hired a hole bunch of expensive lawyers to fight it out in court.

well that's what happened. he got the paperwork wrong.

he got a medical exemption to PLAY IN THE TENNIS TOURNAMENT from Tennis Australia. they are in charge of tennis tournaments and stuff like that. they are not in charge of Australian border control.

he DID NOT get a medical exemption to ENTER AUSTRALIA. how did he think he was gonna play in the tournament without entering the country?????

Tennis Australia said "shore you can play in our tournament without getting vaccinated Novax!".

it is still Novax's responsibility to fill in the paperwork correctly to enter the country. since he didn't bother meeting his responsibility he got detained by Border Force. if Novax wants to be mad at somebody he might choose Tennis Australia. or he could choose to be mad at whichever arseclown from his "entourage" filled in the paperwork wrong and gave him wrong advice.

Border Force has done their job properly. its not their job to let in some billionaire just because he wants to play tennis.

wrong paperwork. that's what happened. he had an exemption to PLAY TENNIS unvaccinated. he did not have an exemption to ENTER THE COUNTRY UNVACCINATED AND WITHOUT QUARANTINE. so he could of entered the country unvaccinated if he arranged to do two weeks quarantine after he got here. then he could of played tennis unvaccinated. then he could of left the country unvaccinated. due to him not getting his paperwork right now he can't play tennis. and he will be leaving the country on monday, unvaccinated. oh well better luck next time Novax.

he could of just followed the rules and arranged a private mansion in Melbourne for him to stay in for two weeks quarantine. then he would of been allowed into the country unvaccinated, stay in the quarantine mansion unvaccinated, been able to play tennis unvaccinated, won his four million bucks, and then go back to Serbia unvaccinated.

he didn't do the simple and obvious thing. it's his own fault for not following the rules.

getting a visa to enter Australia is just filling in a web page form then print it out. there is basically no checking done at the web page filling out part. the checks happen by Border Force officers at the border when the immigrant tries to enter the country. it is the responsibility of the immigrant to get their paperwork right before trying to enter the country, and follow the rules of Australia. Novax didn't do that and got busted.
