The US is 3.5 million sq miles total. Divide that by 330 million population. Thats equates to 94 people per square mile. Lets assume that everything west of the mississippi river is not conducive to homesteading. That leaves 188 people per sq mile. There are 640 acres per sq mile so each person gets 3.8 acres. Lets also assume that a standard family unit is 3 people. That gives every family nearly 12 acres to garden, harvest wood and live simply.

Jun 24, 2022 I had planned to build the house where I live in the forest and now I live here. I prepared a collage for you to watch in a time-lapse. In general, I started to lead a happy life in this house in the forest, which I built with materials I found in nature :) I don't have water money here and I get most of my free food and drinks from my farm.
