SECOND TELL THEM YOU ARE ONLY WILLING TO SUBMIT TO THE SALIVA TEST IF THEY CAN PRODUCE PROOF THAT SHOWS THE TEST IS 100% ACCURATE. CLEARLY IT WOULD BE BE FOOLISH, AND A DISSERVICE TO THE COMPANY, TO SUBMIT TO ANY TEST THAT IS NOT 100% ACCURATE. THEY WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO PRODUCE THE PROOF AS WE ALL KNOW. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 62346884 No they can't because it's all paranoid conspiracy internet bull shit. People that believe PCR tests can be used to determine if someone is "infected" or not are the ones believing paranoid government-fueled conspiracies. The literal inventor of the PCR test, Kary Mullis, is on record (you can watch the video) saying that's not what PCR does. So if the government is lying to the people about the PCR test to begin with, then is it really that far of a stretch to believe they might purposefully infect nasal swabs to get more people sick so that they could continue this power/control grab indefinitely? |

Curious about how this is playing out for others. They waited 'til the very last minute to send us the vaccination attestment form. Quoting: SugarSand I remain unvaxxed, as does one other team member on a team of 6. My company is great. I love it there. They are so good to their employees. There's not a snowball's chance in hell I'd get the shot. I have a feeling they will go out of their way to make sure they retain everyone they can, regardless of status. I'm unclear as to how this applies to remote employees, because I'm practically remote as it is. I have an office, but I only go in once or twice a week. I might be willing to get regular tests, as I think that they will go out of their way to make that convenient, perhaps on-site testing. I'm a software developer and never have a problem finding jobs - recruiters find them for me ... and I'm not at all worried about a layoff if it comes to that. In my state you can collect unemployment insurance even if fired for cause. So however it plays out I'll be fine. I'd love to hear about others' experience. I can't wait to see what happens February 9, which is the deadline to enforce the mandate. I work IT as well for a credit union. We are going to be mandatory testing (not mandatory vaccination) at our expense. They're hoping to buy tests in bulk to make it cheaper per test. Our HR dept is working things out with an attorney to verify they can test onsite in our HR dept. These tests are dangerous Let me guess. You know they are dangerous because you read it on the internet, so it must be true. Yep that's the typical antivaxxer conspiracy tard logic! |

Curious about how this is playing out for others. Regarding the testing options (for people who will submit to weekly tests)- are they requiring vaxxed people at your place of employment to get tested every week, too? After all, THEY'RE the ones who are getting sick in droves. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 81814150 Also, if your test comes up positive, do they require you to stay home and if so, will they pay you your salary while recovering? Be VERY careful with any legal agreement you enter into with these people. They will NEVER bow down to you or make it easy for you. That's not their mission or concern. READ THE SMALL PRINT BEFORE YOU SIGN. These monsters will try to con you in one way or another. I just heard that some hospitals in NY are now requiring their vaxxed employees (who test positive for covid), to STILL come in and work even if they're showing mild symptoms! They're planning to place the sick employees in the covid ward and shift others around to different wards because of staff shortages. These monsters will NEVER stop moving the goal posts and will lie to your face in order to get as much as possible out of you. Be careful. My husband asked his boss today if he will be able to use the at home tests and they still don't know. He does have to test every week on Sunday (it has to be within 24 hours of starting work on Monday). It has to start for week of Feb. 9. He will have to make an appointment & pay for it himself and buy an at home test (if they allow it) or drive to a free rapid testing place (there are a couple around us, but they are 15-20 miles out). It's bad enough he has to test to keep his job (and no, he won't give up his job just because of the testing) but he will lose an hour+ of his time (plus gas) to drive to a rapid testing place every Sunday when that's supposed to be his day off. He'll never really get a full weekend off if they won't allow him to test at home. He'll have to drive to a rapid testing place every fckng Sunday, and he's on call every other weekend anyway. This is so wrong. |

Curious about how this is playing out for others. I got my email today, from a major Fortune 100 company. Have to be vaxxed by Feb 9th or test weekly. I got my religious exemption approved by them last month which I included NO testing on it too. I have responded to them saying I am exempt as I had zero testing included with the exemption. How come there has been a coordinated emailing out with Feb 9th as the deadline by all these companies? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80239169 What kind of notice did they get from the govt for them all to send out at the same time? Why Feb 9th for them all? Turning 5G on? First off, congratulations for knowing your rights under the law and exercising them effectively. Feb 9th was always the OSHA deadline. They are just trying to be ahead of it should the stay not remain. If your accommodation includes no testing then you will not have to test. If HR gets this mixed up redirect them back to your accommodation. Your accommodation trumps any regulations as it is guaranteed by Federal Labor Law. I still am keeping faith however that the stay will remain and the mandate will be struck down. Last Edited by TrufSerumX on 01/10/2022 02:50 PM "Be Careful When You Follow The Masses... Same shit different story. IF and I mean BIG IF the Osha mandate is allowed. Pretty soon testing centers will be absolutely overwhelmed, as well as will be HR departments. Because OSHA has given no guidelines on what types of tests are permitted, yes at home tests will be likely allowed. It's going to end up being an honor system. At what point did anyone think it was ok to have a company make you take a vaccine that can harm you, so you can what? Push papers, program or stock shelves? And you think to avoid that it is ok to have something shoved up your nose weekly, that doesn't even give accurate results? Anyone vaxxed or not who works for companies like this deserve everything you get. Tell all these companies to go to hell. I do not understand you people. |
