Take the rose colored glasses off eggs are chicken periods if the eggs are not fertilized. All life is precious and equal no matter the species. One wonders why so much suffering in this world yet everyday 99.9% of the world population partake in the suffering abuse and murder of innocent beings for their own selfishnesses. Animals are a test of our moral compasses. No one was ever meant to eat another being. Satan normalized it to the point of yummmm bacon.
This world is cold and ignorant. Those who know know!

What are the best Vegan foods for obtaining Vitamin B12, Vitamin D3, Creatine, DHA, Heme iron and Taurine?

Sorry, big pharma supplements don't count.
 Quoting: Truthgiver2244

There's spirulina, chlorella, green tea, sea kelp, many others. Nano soma is my newest find.
 Quoting: Satya Revelations

Nice try, but WRONG.

Those essential nutrients I listed can only be obtained, and properly digested and absorbed, when taken from animal products.

Show me one single vegan, and their daily meals that use any of that garbage you listed. You won't.

Any vegan who knows anything has a cabinet full of big pharma supplements which they consume daily, because even the most deluded vegans know you cannot obtain Vitamin B12 on a plant based diet.
 Quoting: Truthgiver2244

Unless you're eating organic, grass fed beef/meat, you're not getting much (or any) B12. Factory farming has destroyed anything of value that meat has to provide. Yes, I take a B12 supplement and have for 12 years, but most meat eaters would be doing themselves a favor by supplementing. B12 and D3 are the only things I need to supplement daily. Actually, I sometimes go a week without them and still feel fine aside from a barely noticeable lack of energy.

I used to get sick three times a year: cold, flu, bronchitis. Gave up meat and dairy and have only had one 24 hour flu since 2008. 40 years old and I'm in better shape and health then when I was 19 doing military exercises and training (cardio isn't as good, but could easily get it back to where it was if I wanted).

I sure hope you all enjoy this channel as much as I have. I switched from keto to vegan on Dr. Barnard's advice.
I have suffered from severe hot flashes for 12 years! New studies suggest vegan low fat diet with one half a cup of organic non gmo soybeans per day.
The women in the study had an 84% decrease in hot flashes!!!

wash and cut two potaotes into quarter to half inch pieces, spray with olive oil cooking spray
add seasoning (i love garlic salt and pepper)
toss
bake in a roasting pan for 15 minutes and toss and spray again

I could ferment my own soy yogurt or milk yogurt but I like the convenience of buying that. I buy top quality greek sugar free yogurt and add what ever fruit i have on hand... I add a couple drops of stevia to my dish if I want it a tad more sweet.

Favorite greek is Fage... but I often buy Walmarts house brand in quarts...fat free because its $2 cheaper a quart... and works ok.. much better that say King Soopers (here in Denver) house brand.. MUCH MUCH BETTER in fact. just a little short of FAGE.

I like to add organic honey as sweetener.

Also, I make all of my own skincare products, specifically facial products diy. Good results !

Type 1 or 2? I'm dealing with insulin resistance myself, forerunner to type 2. My own fault over the last few years. Trying to reverse it now.

Re: Vegetarian / Vegan thread. Share your passion and recipes here
I was seriously injured after doing an ultra low fat plant based diet last year and now require thousands of dollars of medical care. It is a very dangerous way to eat for some people and especially after menopause because you become estrogen dominant and the copper in plants can drive anxiety and make you sick. Copper toxicity is real. Plant based causes it and most humans have evolved to require zinc for proper mental function... why many are “no longer vegan” (probably).

If you eat plant based and have meat eating genes it’s crucial to supplement not just with b12 but with the nutrients we need for mental health like zinc since the plant based diet tears you down. Right now I eat meat and also take magtein(magnesium l-threonate), 50 mg zinc picolinate, p5p b6, primrose oil and some other stuff, too, since I really don’t have normal function anymore after so many years (about 30 beginning when I was a teen) of unhealthy vegetarian eating.

I wonder what is the structural difference between our bodily needs.

Some require meat, others don't. That's become very clear to me. I've been vegetarian for going on 15 years, am post menopausal and very healthy.

I think what people need to understand, especially in America, that the amount of meat consumed and demanded is not only unnecessary, but unhealthy and contributing to the destruction of the environment. Not to mention the horrific situation of the animals.

Animal sacrifice is wrong, period.

Especially when we are supposed to be herbivores.

It does take a higher intelligence to understand this though..

Humans are suppose to be and are omnivores, period. If we weren't the majority of people wouldn't be here today to argue about it. We would have never survived the ice age.

Spoiled modern people with civilization and supermarkets don't get that. Starving people in poor nations still do. You eat what you have to to survive. If you have meat you eat it, plants you eat them. We are just omnivores, natures survival machines.

The thing is , is that people have evolved past the necessity that earlier generations had to deal with. I'm talking primarily about Americans. There is no need to eat meat 2 or 3x a day, 7 days a week. There is no need for McDonald's, burger king, KFC, b dubs.

And if the money was properly distributed to those in need, they too could easily eat healthily.

Can't you see this is a control system ?

It's very expensive to eat healthily

And it's not really expensive to eat healthy, it's just cheap to eat lazy; fast food, prepackaged meals, etc.

If one actually takes the time to cook for themselves, it is rather cheap to eat healthy, vegetarian, omnivore or carnivore.

I decided to use Raw Meal for emergency food rations. Most of the rations are not vegan and the vegan ones if any cost a lot with hardly any live food or vitamins. Raw Meal has practically everything in it. After that all you need is some rice and raw fruit type shake.

Also I love making nice cream
1. Freeze bananas
2. Put in blender with soy milk and some stevia packets
3. You can add anything you want but if you just add banana, milk and stevia it taste like vanilla ice cream.

Chocolate pudding
1. avocado
2. chocolate powder like Hersheys or some organic brand.
3. Maple syrup
3. Vanilla drops
4. a bit of vegan milk

Blend and you have chocolate pudding.

nicely put.
as a 50 year old man and been vegetarian all my life and vegan for the last 10 years, i have found that i eat less in general, most days i will only drink water after lunch until breakfast. less washing up and less digesting for your body. i never get ill.i have never seen a doctor and never taken an injection.
nor will I
simple food is my receipe, less ingredients but quality home grown and organic plant based food, with fresh herbs and spices, no mass produced veggie rubbish, tofu and tempeh are great additions once a week.

Wish I could find whole raw unfermented Cacao. I bought some unfermented Cacao but it seems it's complicated and often come out dirty because nobody dries them at that stage...

Anyways, I learned how to clean the dirty pulp off the beans... and soaked them until the beans fell to the bottom... then I Roasted them. Unpeeled. The peel/husk seems important to the flavor and it has more theobromine.

Well, I was surprised at how chocolate it was Roasted and even unfermented.

Well I just wish more of this was available... nobody sells dried whole unfermented Cacao raw... ships rare unless you have your own tree or fruit pods.

That way I can learn how to sprout it.

Imo Cacao doesn't really require fermentation.. but I guess it helps when your doing them in large batches? But if it's just you then I don't think it's necessary... I might be wrong. I just cleaned the pulp with running water...

I'm not

but here's something that I do make

6.5 oz beets
6.5 oz carrots
2.0 oz of red lentils
2.0 oz of green lentils
2.0 oz of chopped celery
2.0 oz of chopped asparagus

cook the beets, carrots, lentils
add the celery and asparagus raw
put it all in a magic-bullet / food ninja / blender
blend until smooth

use as a sauce instead of tomato sauce

But.. a huge but. It's hard because they're fermented.. which means the peels shd most likely be discarded first. That's why there shd be whole raw unfermwnted beans so the peels can be included in the process. That's actually imo the biggest part of the chocolate flavor not just fermentation....

They're fermented but not the right type of fermentation that is edible raw really. It's meant to be Roasted after that.
