I love this guy.... don't think the panel gave him a fair opportunity, and none of them responded to his questions to THEM, they just kept repeating their own views. But I've watched many of his videos, and watched him educate hard core meat eaters and even convinced them of the need for education on this issue. As an aside, I don't agree with his reasoning about climate change.....

I know that the peope who NEED to listen to this, won't.

I don't like to drink cows milk.. never did in fact..

for my every day milk I buy a high quality organic soy milk...(I used to make my own.. but time and other issues I stopped)

I fill quart jars with 1/2 soy milk ... and then about 2 TAB of almond flour and fill to top with water and shake. I like almond and soy together. Its my all purpose milk.
Quoting: ALL IS ONE IS ALL

My prefered brand of soy milk is Westsoy unsweetened Organic in 2 QUART boxes which Walmarts carries for the price of 1 quart of it elsewhere...So 2 quarts makes 4 quarts.. a gallon when cut will almond as above. A gallon costs me a little over $4 with the added almost flour.

You must drink a lot of milk lolsssss

I didn’t drink milk for about 30 years. About 7-10 years in i was arm chair diagnosed as autistic, bipolar, “crazy”. I was also meat free and actually vegan at the time.

It’s an unkind diet for humans.

It's crucial to get your necessary nutrients, for sure. And they are totally available on a plant based diet.

This is not a debate thread. This is a place for like minded people to share our thoughts, passion, ideas and recipes !
 Quoting: Satya Revelations

Vegan is A-. Free Will is A+. Especially HUMAN. Unless you're GOD.

Let it be and to each their own.

you are God in action.. you manifest the Holy Spirit and God the Father on this plane.. it can be shitty or good... grow into that idea and take god out of the sky. this is not god.

:NOT GOD:

and I use my own God mind to discern what I eat or not and so on and so forth.

Satya it will always turn into a debate thread... you cannot prevent that unless of you are a paid account and remove personally the debate. hf

except Satya for people who cannot make all the cholesterol they need. I cannot.. I eat 2 to 3 eggs a day for that reason. hf I need that much cholesterol... but I buy as possible and its usually possible now.. organic eggs from free range chickens. and I don't mean from barns with one little open "door" for them to go in and out.

since I eat eggs.. (and dairy products)... I am not a vegetarian... another word might be the lacto vegetarian group that is used but eggs are not lacto..

how about dairy/eggs vegetarian group with a bit of occassional meat.. does that do something?

I ate turkey and pot roast at the community Christmas dinner and got HUGE heart burn from it.

Have you looked into a product such as this? [link to www.iherb.com (secure)]

I eat the occasional egg. hard to give up sour cream with my plant based tacos...... i've even had salmon and tuna this past year. And I don't examine all of the ingredients on everything I buy to make sure it's vegan. But I have boycotted the commercial meat industry for many years, even prior to stop eating local farmed meat. Not bragging, just stating my process.

I quit with all leather products many years ago. But then I could give two shits about fashion in any manner.

my only point is, is that this is an educational matter, as well as a process for the programmed mind an body to come out of. It's not a turn the page, one and done thing. As humanity is evolving, we still have to function. But at least we can do it with awareness and compassion. And i know you agree with this!

Mushrooms are my favorite!
I had a boss who could really make an entire crockpot of these for potlucks. In essence, she could melt 4 blocks of cheese and a pack of ranch sauce mixture in the crockpot. Then add three or four packets of fresh mushrooms...they shrink as they cook up. You just eat them once they've cooked in the butter for a bit. Even while I enjoy them, I believe a bowl full might be too much. This is something I'd want to have on hand for when I'm grilling burgers or steaks.

Nice gravy recipe -

Fry onions (2 small or 1 large) add garlic if required,

Add mushrooms, about 6 or 7 sliced,

fry on light heat until all are soft,

add salt and pepper,

mix a pint or two of boiling water with a teaspoon of Marmite (vegemite) and half a tablespoon of brown sauce (HP).

Add to the fried ingredients,

Thicken with cornflour.

We normally leave out the garlic but use it sometimes if say making a shepherds pie
pray to Jesus

Note - not in India, in the UK, English born and bred! lol
Not in Belgium either, I hoped a change of ISP to Plusnet would sort it out, seems not.
