PM's popularity slumps further, poll says

As PMQs was ongoing, one survey found Boris Johnson's net favourability rating has dropped a further 10 points to -37.

A Savanta ComRes poll has found the PM is the least favourable of all the politicians tested.

His net score represents a fall of 23 points since November, and 29 points since this time last year, Savanta ComRes said.

No 10 backtracks on PM's claim Sue Gray report expected 'next week'

Number 10 has confirmed Sue Gray's investigation into alleged Downing Street parties held during coronavirus lockdown is still ongoing.

This is despite Boris Johnson asserting in the Commons earlier this afternoon that the report was expected "next week".

The PM's official spokesman said: "The timing is rightly a matter for the investigation, my understanding is their work is still continuing."

He said: "As you know, as part of the process, we will get the report at some point when that work is concluded, at this stage of the week that hasn't happened. Obviously, we would update if that changed."
