Number 10 readying for PM statement on Gray report tomorrow, Sky News understands

Downing Street is preparing the ground for Boris Johnson to make a statement on the Sue Gray report on Wednesday, Sky News understands.

The timing is dependent on when the findings are handed to Number 10. It was reported this evening that this could happen within hours.

A government figure told Sky News that if the report is received tonight or tomorrow morning, Johnson will provide a statement later in the day on Wednesday.
