IMO internet will not be stopped during the first days of the crisis, but once the nukes start flying...so you must also prepare Faraday cages, it is pretty easy: use plastic /cardboard for the inner insulation layer, and aluminum foil for the outer conductive layer. The joke is, once inside the faraday package waiting for the EMP the devices can't be used anymore. So you may need two or more of a kind. Don't forget extra extra extra batteries. I cannot stress that enough. A winter storm with 1 foot snow can make the life miserable in USA, with literally NO electricity, NO heating, NO phone, NO internet. Just experienced it! In Europe that simply cannot happen where all power lines are underground. In USA it happens often. How about 50 nukes each making a local EMP. You are out of the grid out of info unless you prepare NOW. FM radio too, however stupid it might sound. As far as we don't get the big nuclear strike, FM remains the best source of info after internet. And internet may stop for so many reasons...

The psychos in power will keep the Phones/TVs/Internet going until the very very bitter end.... they WANT us occupied 24 7...NOT outside, organizing, getting stronger, practicing skills, linking with our neighbors etc....

I will never forget back in 99. My whole blocks power went out. For a few blocks actually. And it was the ONLY time I EVER saw literally the whole neighborhood outside, talking in the streets, united, organizing shit.....
