The job I walked away from on Nov 2nd 2021 was in telecommunications. It takes years to train people on what I know and most don't want it. So good luck really replacing the level of knowledge I know. Communications going down with idiots jabbed.

Then take the water plant folks, the nuclear plant folks, the truckers are not a dime a dozen, and the high level military knoweledge of these pilots gone.

Yup. I'm going to take the time for myself.. I usually find jobs extremely fast. But, I don't know now with the vax requirements they are all doing

I gave my two weeks, but also emailed in sick.. So they might just fire me out of spite. I don't care anymore. They can shove it. even if they ask me to stay, which they probably wont because the mandate goes way higher than them. There is no way I'm staying. Simply because they pulled this crap.

Who wants to have something shoved up their nose every week? You know they have spit tests but don’t offer them. This is not about our health. We don’t even have rapid tests where we live. It takes 3-5 days to get results back. So useless to get them.

Same here, I have quite some specialist knowledge in a very tiny, rather unknown but very important niche.

I dare to say, 10 people in my country are in that field with maybe 5 (including those two I work with) knowing what I know.

But I have seniority with 30 years experience.

Customers from Germany to Ukraine and trust me, except for Germany, in the other countries there are almost no people with knowledge in that field.

Actually I had customers ringing on my private doorbell on Sunday mornings when I was on vacation because they had something to fix urgently and nobody knew how.

Now the newest political demand and maybe soon law is 2G for work starting 1 February.

OK... I will never get the cancer-shots so we will see how that works out but I will inform all my customers on my last workday WHO they can thank when shit does not work and nobody can fix it.

It is true that many companies have these silent skilled workers keeping the wheels running all smoothly. Even if they are not that skilled, they are very solid workers.

Now those workers are quitting with this Great Resignation wave and it is very very disruptive for two reasons.

One, they are not easily replaceable and two, the pool of 20-30-years old pampered fools with their no-effort participation trophy degrees and fruit fly attention spans is the worst worker pool ever to find any replacement workers!

Not all, but way too many are just entitled garbage as workers.
