If your work story is not itself a fiction, this attitude might have more to do with the company's looking for excuses to dump you than any vax-covidian mania. If your occupation is important to you, whatever it be, it seems to me you should've had other prospects lined up at least a year ago because even a child could see that an already bad situation, with Sleepy Joe and Kameltoe in office, could only get worse with time!
