No. No. No. See this is the kind of stuff that pisses me off. Because you got the one side that is fear mongering you to wear the mask for fear that you’ll die from the virus. However, you’ve got the other side that’s fear mongering you not to wear the mask for fear that the mask will kill you. When in reality the truth is far simpler, and way less scary. You want the truth? Here it is. The N95 mask that they want you to wear is nothing more than a dust mask. I wore them for years painting houses for 8-10 hours at a stretch. I never got headaches, I never had trouble breathing, in fact wearing the dust mask while spray painting actually made it easier to breath. Did it stop all of the paint? No. Did it stop most of it? Absolutely. So wearing it isn’t a health hazard, however, it’s a dust mask. It is not designed to stop particulates the size of a virus. Virus’s are so small you can not see them with the naked eye. Dust, pollen, spray paint you can see with your eyes. That’s what it’s designed to stop. The virus is literally so small compared to what a particle of dust is, that the mask is like a chain link fence being put up to stop mosquitoes. Sure you might get some that stop on a link, but the vast majority are going to get through and in innumerable amounts. It just simply doesn’t work for the hazard they are trying to tell you that it does. You are literally just as safe not wearing the mask as you are wearing it, because it is preventing nothing. So go about your life like you always have not wearing a piece of cloth over your face that does nothing.
