It makes me happy to see how many people are awake to and aware of the negative consequences of this!
Be ever watchful!

In contrast, it doesn't depress me one little bit at how many people are asleep and ignorant of the consequences of their own doctrinal delusions. As far as I'm concerned those people deserve everything they get because I'd rather have a conversation with an open, deceitful mind than a closed self-righteous one.

Alighieri Dante said it best when he wrote, "better to rule in Hell than to serve in heaven," but to paraphrase it further, "better to be a free thinker than a slave to blind conformity."

GSB/LTD: with no disrespect meant at the AC, you're a person after my own heart. I wish I had someone like you as a friend IRL. You positively fascinate me, in the best of ways. :)

GSB/LTD: I think it was you (sorry for not going in search of the post) who mentioned the girl who turned out to be a demon, attached to an attic find? I was shocked when I read that you kept it/her, albeit sealed, and still is in your closet?

Thank you, "Netherlands", for your input and cool avatar image! Now why is that, that so many call for bloody mary's, ghosts, demons and nothing happens? I think it has to do with which overlapping universe we're at, here together on planet Earth, and I quoted someone who spoke about "intentions" and/or "beliefs".

Some great things shared here, and a lot of things for me to ponder in a quest for truth! (I might be AFK off & on, but please feel free to talk among yourselves.)

Actually, I didn't state that little girl was a demon but rather a childish -if foul-mouthed- spirit resentful at being neglected in a dusty attic for decades. When I first took my board to that nursing home back in the 70's, I witnessed several elderly patients who were likewise resentful of neglect: families that rarely visited leaving them confined to a tiny room with only a book, TV or a nurse's visit for companionship. And many of them were foul-mouthed, ill-tempered and combative too. Did that make them demons? Similarly, Alzheimer's patients frequently exhibit the sames symptoms but does that make them possessed? I think not. And as such I never considered that little spirit as demonic in nature.

My studies/experiences with the occult have been vast and early-on I recognized that demons do indeed exist. But I also learned they can be controlled into submission, just as all churches teach. The difference is that it doesn't take prayers [which are themselves nothing more than incantations], scared candles or blessed water to do so; rather it is a matter of old-fashioned power of will. I was never possessed because I refused to allow it to occur.

We all carry within us this force of free will, yet many either don't recognize it or choose to leave it dormant and thus allow others [frequently their religion] to call all the shots. But the fact is that each individual controls his/her own destiny. The hard part is in using that force wisely to avoid harming any other living being.
