Agreed. He always lets slip some of the reasoning behind decisions.

I recall our ABC TV 7.30 Report interviewing Lavrov on a number of issues, mainly the stance of Russia opposing the CO2 global warming narrative.

Lavrov was asked why, if he opposed the narrative, did Russia sign the Kyoto Protocols? He replied that they signed it ONLY because it was a CONDITION OF ENTRY into allowing Russia into the WTO.

The interviewer was stunned - he had no idea.


Lavrov is brilliant.
