Tomorrow in Boston, vaccine mandates take effect -- UPDATE pg. 5 -- Reasonable Accommodations guidance

And there are literally hundreds of police, first responders, teachers, and others who are fighting back against the city AND their unions.

It sucks though because I hear many are going to cave in today and get the shot.

Please pray for them and their families. Pray they have the strength to hold true to their principles and refuse being poisoned. Pray that those who do go out and get jabbed today do not suffer from any meaningful side effects.

These people do not fully comprehend the power they hold just by not getting the jab. It is scary being faced with the prospect of losing your livelihood, which places entire families in danger of being literally homeless.

But refusing to get vaccinated and making the city go through with their tyranny would cripple the city's ability to conduct basic government business. The effects would be seen immediately.

IF you or someone you know is considering getting the jab today because of a mandate taking effect tomorrow -- do whatever you can to help them 'hold the line' with the rest of their brothers and sisters who refuse to bow to tyranny.

My company sent out an email yesterday at noon telling us they had no choice but to start collecting vaccination status for employees. They were going to use BenefitsSolver and indicated because SCOTUS hasn't made a ruling yet, they had no choice. The email went on to say we had until 24JAN to complete it and ignoring the emails and notifications was not going to make any difference. There was a deadline. Period.

I had gone at it with my HR department and finally the HR attorney over vaccination status/masking requirements and how it was discriminatory and that I would not be sharing my medical information with my employer. Ultimately, we have never had an official return-to-office so it's still moot point but I have stood hard on this.

Yesterday I showed my wife the email and told her, under no circumstances will I share this info. Looks like I may be looking for a new job. Immediately after reading the email and letting it sink in, I jumped on GLP To see if SCOTUS had ruled. They did.

My company sent out a follow-up email halting all vaccination status collection about 2 hours later.

Make your decision and own it. No not bend when you realize you're going to lose. No matter what they do, stand strong. If refusal is your position, DO NOT let them take it from you. It's only a job.

Good news -- this might not be public but whatever.

The city has POSTPONED their enforcement of the mandate against union workers for ten days!

That's a small victory for us. It could be postponed again after nine days.

Doing all this stuff feels a bit like chess... always thinking a few moves ahead.

REGARDING BOSTON'S VACCINE MANDATE TO ENTER ESTABLISHMENTS

It states "If a customer in an age group covered by the order wishes to enter the indoor portion of your premises for more than a quick or limited purpose but states that they are unable to show proof of vaccination because of a disability or other reason related to civil rights law, you must engage with the person in a cooperative dialogue, or a good faith discussion, to see if there is a reasonable accommodation that would enable the customer to access your goods or services."

We MUST EDUCATE consumers and businesses on the reasonable accommodations policy. It appears discretionary to the establishment. That means that anyone who requests an accommodation based on religious or medical beliefs CAN RECEIVE ONE from the business, if the business so chooses, while remaining compliant with the regulations.
