Listen - A Company (at least in our state) can fire you for any reason whatsoever; at any time whatsoever they can cease the employer/employee relationship. It's right there in the Handbook. That has never changed. From Day 1.

What I say to my fellow employees is, 'Seeing this is the policy, conduct yourselves accordingly'.

ie- The Company cares so much about you that they will fire you RIGHT NOW. GET OUT! You owe an entity like that NO LOYALTY WHATSOEVER. Conduct yourself accordingly ...
