OP is really right here....

Employers always were going to do what they wanted. A mandate just shifted the narrative to "we would not do it, but the federal government gives us no choice"--so they are not the Bad Guy.

Now, it really is up to them, and there are some/many that will still do it without the "cover" of the government backing them up.

It makes it a little harder for employers to spin it now, but they will still do it.

Employers who didn't want to do it can now not do it, but they are still being influenced by all the "encouragement" to have mandates.

I think you will have more "vax or test" than we would have otherwise.
