condensing and dehydrating protein, according to newest nutritional theories, for bunker supplies, in case of nuclear winter effecting regions in unintended manners.
radiation clouds would be minimal if controlled via HAARP and clean Hydrogen fusion detonation, but the problematic interferences created are incalculable, for have never been imposed prior.

I live in Northern VA. I’ve been here for almost 30 years. I’m right off 95.
I have never seen the amount of trucks out on 95 daily that I see now. I travel 40 miles one way, a day. So I know and I see it. Massive amount of trucks on 95.
My grocery store, as of last night was the emptiest I have ever seen it. No meat, no bread and no chips. Bare shelves.
Two things.
What’s in the trucks?
Where are they going?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80269998

Also, a kajillion Sherwin Williams trucks, a couple a day. Yet if you go there they say a paint shortage and the paint costs a fortune.

Where is all this paint going?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79265196

I’m not sure but I’m sure it’s all tied together
Either it’s going to warehouses or these trucks are NOT shipping our supplies around. It’s something else.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80269998

why would large amounts of trucks be driving north and shelves empty... maybe we are selling to canada?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 81859364

North and South
All day long
Find some of the photos of 95 shut down due to snow the other day. Look at all the Trucks and that’s not showing the rest areas which are jammed pack as well.
It doesn’t add up.

What the hell is going on?

Are they redirecting our food supply somewhere else?

Is it really a worker shortage?

Is it a distribution issue?

Is this intentional?

Why is the price of what IS available pretty much double what it was 2 years ago?

I feel like somebody is fucking with us....

Same here, I have been out of supermarkets for 3 months, Went in two different ones yesterday

Cant say I noticed any change, all fully stocked, The only thing I could find was beef patties from 220g to 210g

and a few slight price increases.

Sorry :( no doom around here

I think those who have yards could grow vegetables and if big enough maybe have chickens. People have always done this but kind of got away from it because of 2 wage earner families. a couple different families could even grow different vegetables and trade with each other. Those who don't have yards could help maintain and help with the gardening for a share. Just a thought. I do notice more people having chickens for fresh eggs. I did already get vegetable seeds from Amazon.
 Quoting: linda***

I was just the local Home Depot last night, and noticed that they have their seed displays already up; not leftovers from last year, but new seeds.

That is absolutely unheard of so early in the year.

I feel like that is correct. Someone is fucking with us. I've felt it from the beginning.

Cops STATIONED at my local grocery store nightly here for MONTHS... last week I haven't seen them as much. But it's been just weird.

Having to hunt stores just for water restocks? it's ridiculous. The excuses you listed are just that.. excuses that don't add up.. so yeah I think or get the feeling we are being fucked with imho. that's just what it's felt like to me for the last few months

Y'all are making me feel very fortunate indeed. I am in south Louisiana. I have seen very few empty shelves in the three grocery stores that I usually visit, and the local CVS is fully stocked.

Havent really seen the shortages others have talked about until the last 2 weeks. Meat, cream cheese and tortilla shells have goneAWOL but did notice WM has lowered beef prices back down. Ribeyes were up to 16.97 now back to 11.97.

yeah. someone is doing this deliberate. their was a short window after the lockdowns when the shelves were stocked but then we got into this cycle again. it always seems to come when the toilet paper is short and then the other items follow...

-Rotella T6 Oil out of stock everywhere. Had to order online and wait 2 weeks.

-Truck shortage - I paid 72k for my F350 14 months ago new... It's worth 80k+ now because new trucks are months out.

-Equipment shortage. I sold one of my bobcats last week for 10k less than I paid for it new in 2014. It sold in less than 5 minutes on marketplace.

-Speakers. Took months for my 4 21" home theater subwoofers to come in. This is the driver only as I built my own boxes.
Some other speakers I ordered months ago are still not in.

-Buying my wife's new car was a joke. Was lucky to pay sticker after spending 2 days trying to even find one in the Chicago suburbs.

-Waverunners/Pwc/Jet-skis. All brands are sold out for the entire upcoming season. Sea-doo is sending customers their skis without a ecm or cluster. Pay for it and wait for the parts or it will go to the next customer in line

Those are just a few things. I don't know how some of you are saying there is no shortages.

I have personal experience with this one. There's a lot of paranoid parents keeping their children on lockdown for fear of Covid, crime, and child abduction. The scare is FAR worse in liberal cities. Some parents aren't even letting their kids play outside.

The main highway north out of Houston resembles an unending train.

I have never seen (or heard) this number of trucks.

The rumbling is continuous now, day and night. Truck stops and rest areas are packed too.

What the hell is going on?

Are they redirecting our food supply somewhere else?

Is it really a worker shortage?

Is it a distribution issue?

Is this intentional?

Why is the price of what IS available pretty much double what it was 2 years ago?
