There's an interesting hypothesis regarding that. There's quite a bit of evidence from luciferian insiders that suggests they abide by the metaphysical principles within "The Law of One" channelled writings. Please correct me if I'm wrong. In the law of one, it is revealed that these elites are descended from an extraterrestrial bloodline with connections to the Egyptian god RA. These entities aim to "catalyze" the evolution of humanity by way of creating oppressive conflicts throughout our history as a way of helping humans self-actualize. The idea is that there are metaphysical cycles of growth where certain developmental goals need to be achieved or we basically "flunk" the cosmic school. They claimed to have interfered too early and too greatly in our early civilization and we advanced to a greater degree than was productive for the development of our soul group. It also made us dependent on them to a great degree. Apparently, their current destructive activity is meant to push us to unify as a planet and bring on the next step in evolution. I personally don't buy that hogwash, but the highest level elites very well might. In their perspective, they might actually think that they are doing us a favor. My current hypothesis is that the luciferians are themselves being lied to and manipulated by another non-human group for their own selfish benefit

Hello 7Seals, do the human elite puppets KNOW what their masters are actually trying to accomplish (human extinction)? Do they think they are doing good while acting on the side of evil? Why are they so obsessed with the broken karma system that was constructed as spiritual handcuffs for this universe? The first time I had a spiritual vision, the voice that spoke to me only said one thing: "karma as you know it is a lie." Many more experiences later, I've come to understand that there is higher cosmic law that karma is based on, but that the version of karma in this universe is a corruption of God's true law by the demiurge, used to keep us in the reincarnation cycle.

I'm sure they have convinced themselves that they are doing the World a favor. How else could they reconcile with their own soul? If they are being lied to and manipulated it is a test, one that they appear to be failing at spectacularly. Karma misses no one and no amount of money in any form will buy it off.
