Take another look at the video. All that is required for the use of lethal force in self defense in most states is a reasonable belief your life or someone else's is in imminent danger. Just one look at that guy and how he was acting would be enough.

A seconds delay can mean you're dead as a hammer, you cant wait to see if he is going to kill you and unfortunately she could not count on her fellow officers to stop him. That's just the facts. These assholes have to realize the laws apply to them with exactly the same force they do anyone else.

Because they realize if too many live to see a trial and start getting exonerated it's "bad for business". EVERYONE has the right to defend themselves, FROM ANYONE. And though they might write laws to the contrary that say the only "legal" thing to do is hope they dont kill you, they have no moral force and a jury makes that determination if self defense was justified if you get a trial.

I just cannot make a determination based off of the video alone. I agree though that it was not a good idea grabbing from behind like that when half a second it would have taken to be in the cops line of sight.

He knew who he was attacking.

The most likely reason they cut the video was to prevent the abused suspect from suing the city. I'll bet that bald headed cocksucker was calling him an n word and threatening to kill him

I caved.. but I will also state, I did not post this because I hate cops... I have friends that are cops.. I just hate the ones that do stupid shit like this because they cannot control their anger... if she would not have stepped in, he would have pepper spray the perp..and for what getting mouthy.

Also, someone stated before, we do not know the whole story to judge.. well fine then, how about they release the whole footage then. If it would have been in this sergeants favor I am sure they would have.. but they did not.. so what does that tell you.

The perp was beating up elderly patrons at a convenience store.
