What happens when U.S. starts shelling Russian positions -- accurately destroying Russian hardware -- in Ukraine from the safety of Romania and Poland (both NATO members)?

"I didn't do it?"



That's definitely not impossible to happen, considering the amount of effort U.S. has already invested into provoking a (nuclear) war between Russia and NATO (the European part of it).

I still think that this whole clusterfuck-in-the-making is very poorly thought-out by the Russian side.
