British Columbia - Teachers now bound to provide vaccination status - What does this mean? | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 78619323 Canada 01/18/2022 09:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Just read today that teachers in the Canadian province of British Columbia ("B.C.") will, by provincial "health" order from yesterday (the 17th), have to provide their school and school district with their COVID-19 VACCINATION STATUS. Thing is, 98% of school boards in B.C. (wisely) said "no" within the past month or two to vaccine mandates for teachers. So why this? Why now? I know that with many teachers M.I.A. with COVID and now this "Omicron" variant thing, there are staffing issues - and many teachers are electing to stay out of action for not days but weeks. Perhaps this "declare your vax status" thing is about forcing vaxxed teachers to get back to work after 5 days? This is one opinion I came across today. Another is that, despite the school boards already having said "no" to the mandate, they are being made to about-face and say "yes" to the mandate. Which makes no sense given that the vaccines are a HUGE-ASS failure - they don't work. |
