She uses the entire plant. I was skeptical but she sounds skilled and knowledgeable. Ratio 2:1 food oil to plant. They blend it well because there are no plant chunks. There is no water added. Expiration date after two years.

150 pounds and under take 20 drops. Over 150 pounds take 40 drops 3 times a day. Children 5-7 drops 3x a day.

Maybe it's a good idea to mix it with a half cup of water to drink it.

I don't have details on reactions or side effects, but you can look up current scientific research coming from Arizona State.


You can buy purple pitcher plant from carnivorous plant stores, or find seeds. If you grow your own, be sure to get the right kind of soil, light, and give it correct nutrition.

What about homeopathic drops?

The strongest concentration I find is 6C from India. The "C" means one drop out of 100 is active ingredient. 6C means this has been done 6 times. 1 out of every 1,000,000,000,000. It relies on "water memory" if you believe this.

TPoxx and Dryvax are the old pharma treatment and vaccine for smallpox, but be aware they recently came out with a new vaccine.

Treatment or preventative? My guess is treatment, as there is evidence that, administered early, it inhibits viral replication. I have no information whether it might work as a preventative. I only have so much of it, so I'm going to wait to use it until there are signs of infection in the community.

A few words of caution. I'm not here to tell you what to believe or choose, but personally, I'm not going to rely on the homeopathic vials from India that have been heavily diluted.

With herbals, it's not a bad idea to test them on your body in advance to check for allergic reactions. Maybe on a patch of skin, wait at least 24 hours. It doesn't check for all reactions, but it's a small precaution I like to follow.

I had a plant shipped to me. It died. I didn't have flies to feed it, or the proper nutritional substitute. I'll try again.

I was born in 70, so Im not sure if I would have been given the smallpox shot or not..its right on the edge of the cutoff (71/72?), and I certainly cant remember if it happened, and my parents have no records I know of.

Most over 55 should have small pox vaxination they stopped giving in 1972. Also there is 2 strains of monkey pox the one spreading cases around is the mild strain it has a 1 percent death. The bad strain isn't going around that one has a 1 put of 10 chance of dieing. So be thankful of that.
