Anonymous Coward User ID: 80366299 Mexico 01/20/2022 09:59 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I am a former airline captain, I am out of the industry but I still keep tabs of what is going on. I have an app on my phone, it’s a free app that you can download yourself, it is called flightradar24. One of the really cool features of this app is you can have alerts set up so if an aircraft somewhere in the world declares an emergency, in the industry we call it squawking 7700, you can get a notification. I’ve had this app for years and usually you would see one to four emergencies pop up every month. That’s how it’s always been, aviation is pretty safe, there’s not a whole lot of emergencies worldwide on the monthly basis. But over the last couple of months I have been getting notifications sometimes up to 10 times a day. I’ve already had four this morning! Something huge and scary is going on out there and nobody is talking about it. I am seeing so many aircraft declaring emergencies on a daily basis, and I don’t know what the fuck is going on. You don’t have to believe me, you can download the app for yourself and set up the notifications. A lot of emergencies happening these days, I don’t know if I want to fly commercially anymore. Quoting: 580Dandman Seeing for themselves wouldn’t indicate anything is amiss. The reason why is because there’s no benchmark. Where’s the app- based data that shows an average of 3-4 emergency squawks per month? That’s taking your word, otherwise, “captain.” People need a reference with which to compare. If we all use that app and set the settings to alert us as you did and everyone sees 10 or so emergencies each day, who’s to say that’s already TYPICAL? Hey, just saying. Maybe you’re who you say you are etc. however there’s a history of deception and attention-seeking in here because, sadly, there’s a large presence of people who WANT to believe everything negative and anomalous without question and/ or without vetting sources and gathering evidence. Until then, he said she said. ….. The reason this is a fair No worries. I understand and share your scepticism of everything. I don’t believe 98% of what I see online. So I hear ya. For what it's worth, I believe you. No reason not to, really, especially given how many 7700's you say there've been lately and where to see them. I have been loosely involved in the aviation sector in the past. 7700's are a big deal, and rare for the most part in the past. |

Quoting: 580Dandman This is fairly clear to me what's happening here. Airline staff are some of the most repugnant horrible narcissistic people on earth. They revel in making you submit to their every demand while we pay for their service. They are subhuman garbage. I suggest that they are bringing these flights down because people question the Gestapo authority they think they have over passengers. I've seen first hand the way these pigs treat passengers. The airlines know they can pull a plane down for piss on a toilet seat, or a passenger who tells one of these disgusting pigs to fawk off and that's what is going on. RobinhoodNL |

Its the vaxx....and the booster. or maybe 5G blasting the graphene in the vaxed, causing mayhem in the bloodstream and vital organs they said they were worried about 5G near airports, something about one of the frequencies being able to disrupt the airline frequency that determines altitude, but maybe they’re really just worried about 5G blasting the guys who are vaxed and flying the planes I read the reason 5G is a problem for airplanes is because they operate on C band. Other countries have managed so far so good. So what’s the real reason for the US aviation industry’s reluctance? [link to www.kdrv.com (secure)] |

Something is definitely going on. Currently I am in the industry and I know a lot of these emergencies are due to unruly passengers, medical emergencies. I just worked a delayed flight becasue they diverted for a medical. I have also seen uptick in medicals happening on AC. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80732780 do most of them land at the nearest airport? When I have time I will actually go onto the app and watch the flight and the ones I watched land at the nearest airport. I’ve googled the plane numbers later and never could find anything about them. It’s usually pretty standard when you declare an emergency to land at the nearest “suitable” airport. What I really need to do, or hopefully someone else on GLP that has more time, is start keeping track of these registration numbers and looking later to see if a report was filed. Dandman |
