Deplorable Zenobia
User ID: 81107037 United States 01/21/2022 02:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | On the very basest level of layman's understanding, it's about being a student (i.e. learning life lessons) AND being a teacher (i.e., teaching the same). And thought struggles against the results, trying to avoid those unpleasant results while keeping on with that way of thinking. That is what I call 'sustained incoherence.' ...David Bohm “How, O Zenobia, hast thou dared to insult Roman emperors?” ...Aurelian, 44th Emperor of the Roman Empire |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 81785906 United States 01/21/2022 02:38 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What is it, or what is YOUR understanding of it? Quoting: Satya Revelations Many understand it to be a balancing of energy... what comes around...goes around. Cause and effect. For every action there is an equal opposite reaction. You reap what you sow. The original Sanskrit meaning of the word we have as "Karma " simply means "doing." So what are your thoughts on this concept that has been acknowledged and even respected by virtually every nationality, as well as every religion, including Christians? What does the understanding of "doing" mean to YOU? Reality is very similar to water. You can learn much about vibrations, waves and frequencies by observing water. You interact with water and you send out ripples. You remove a portion of water from a body and it seeks to level itself out. You pour water down a mountain in a stream and it will seek the path of least resistance as well as create polarities of inlets (+ polarity) and outlets (- polarity). Imagine Karma being the interaction with water. The interaction always creates waves, frequencies and streams of paths of least resistance and the water will always seek EQUILIBRIUM. You are submersed in a sea of energy and ARE that energy every choice and action you create is interacting with the rest of that sea. All interactions effect the entire body of water and eventually bounce back to you. Karma is THE PHYSICS OF VIBRATION. Knowing how to properly direct this vibration through right thinking, right feeling and right action gives The One Mind greater control over the vibrations that bounce back to Self. Yep |

What does the understanding of "doing" mean to YOU? Karma is superstition. Buddhist believe in "luck". New Agers and Hindu believe in "Karma". Christianity aligns with more of the philosophy of Law of Attractions. But not the new age form. Jesus said in Luke 6:38 "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again." Of course. Everyone on the planet knows that only Christians have it right, even when they don't. |
Demonstrable By Nature User ID: 80851325 United States 01/21/2022 03:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ^ i don't know about that definition. You're kind of mixing the roles of karma and the Tao into a soup lol. Quoting: 1330 497846 action > reaction > action > reaction ripples through a pond, bouncing back eventually after hitting the edges of the pond... Karma is the physics of vibration. That would be true if bad karma and good karma in all of time never had aligned goals. But the second that happens this simplistic duality form of cause and effect doesn't check out as cleanly as you're stating here. What is good and bad? Your subjective perception of what is "good" or "bad" is clouding your judgement about the matter. how many times in life have you experienced something that you judge to be "bad" only to realize years later that it was the best thing that could have happened to you? or, vice versa... How many times have you experienced something you immediately judged as "good" only to find out later it was a curse in disguise? So? What is good and bad? Is it subjective or objective? Allow me to give you another perspective on what good and bad implies. Good and bad should not be judged by your immediate subjective reactions to a specific event or occurrence. we are ignorant creatures severely limited by our lack of perception. We perceive less then .0000000000000000000000000001% of the available information that surrounds us. This is a fact. Therefore we should attempt to judge things as "good" or bad" less, based on this factual information. We simply lack the proper awareness to make the correct judgement call. Instead think of good and bad in terms of objective Truth and illusion (the distortion of what is true). We cannot see the vast sea of vibrations of every single particle in the universe, therefore we simply do not know how we are effecting our environment in complete totality with every action we perform. We may save a baby from death which seems good. But what if that baby was Hitler and went on to kill millions of people? These subjective view points do no good as they are simply judged good or bad depending on if they suit our immediate ego's childish needs. However there is such a thing as OBJECTIVE TRUTH vs. that which is illusion, ignorance, deception or lies. this objective Truth, even though we may not be able to perceive it, most definitely exists and thus we CAN be aware of it. We know that when we throw a pebble in a pond, it will create ripples that eventually cover the entire pond and bounce back, EVEN IF WE CANNOT KEEP TRACK OF EVERY RIPPLE THAT RESULTS FROM OUR ACTION. This is why we should strive not to judge anything but our own True Self. And this includes events and occurrences that happen to our immediate awareness. We simply do not know if the event is beneficial to life or detrimental and WHERE that ripple came from. Perhaps it is Karma bouncing back to us from when we were kids and destroyed that ant hill without realizing what we were doing? Judgement of an event or occurrence in our lives and the dispensing of justice should be left squarely in the hands of the universal Mind as only an omnipotent force is capable of proper Judgement and proper dispensing of Justice to create EQUILIBRIUM. What we can do is judge our own thoughts, feeling and thus actions. For a frequency generated will always resonate with like frequencies. Or another way to put it; Even so every good tree bringeth forth good. fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. Now the KEY to all this is SELF HONESTY / TRUTH, which is the true definition of "good". Most people lie to themselves all day and pretend they are truthful honest people who are self proclaimed saints and never do wrong. All the while they are constantly thinking negative, life harming thoughts and feeling hatred towards everyone most of their waking days. They dedicate 1 hour of their time a day to praying to "God" and they think this absolves them of the other 23 hours of negative vibration. People are not honest with themselves and that is why they are always playing the victim. "Why do these bad things happen to me! I am such a good person!" Well, perhaps you think you are but somewhere along the line you generated ripples that caused you to have to learn these lessons. And though many of these lessons seem like "bad" things, after you pass them and LEARN you find they were the best thing that could have happened to you. Also people who ARE "good" (Truthful with themselves and accept the Truth of the interconnection of all things), often, in their HIGHER MIND, seek to resolve negative Karma of their ancestors or even selfish people of the world through SACRIFICE. The only way to cancel out a wave is to hit it with it's inversion. THIS NEGATES THE KARMA. LOVE KILLS DEMONS. Those of us of higher awareness understand this concept and take on the burden of canceling out these negative Karmic waves of the collective by allowing ourselves to suffer and be hated, only to return that suffering with LOVE which cancels out the negative wave frequency and stops the Karmic cycle. This is why Jesus Christ chose to demonstrate this concept by returning all hatred and even his own torturing with only LOVE. Subsequently creating a lesson in physics that resonated around the world for over 2,000 years. That is how powerful and awesome the power of Love and self Sacrifice for Others Truly is. In short, you are not qualified to judge good or bad unless it comes from yourself. And you can NOT lie to yourself even if you falsely judge your own actions. There is such thing as Truth and if you are creating negative waves of Karma the majority of your life, it will eventually bounce back to you after is resonates through the entire web of reality. And that is the TRUTH whether you perceive it or not and whether you deny it or not. |

Someone responded: Many "bad" people who attained riches and power have much karmic debt. Good karma=closer to liberation not necessarily material wealth. They are farther from liberation than most people. And you can see it. They will not attain liberation before anyone who is "good". Some perhaps are so enslaved by this illusion that they could only hope to be brought down and humbled by the grace of the divine. We aren't talking about "good" people with wealth here, we are talking about corrupt people with seemingly endless power in this illusion. Another responded: Good merit in their past life __________________________________________ I admittedly don't know much about karma.. realized when a friend asked me what I knew about it the other day. My simple understanding is that fate smiles on you when you do something good or interesting. Many cultures have different words for a similar concept... for example I tell people that it's good luck to save a turtle. Whether it's true is for you to decide... could even be a placebo effect or self-fulfilling prophecy. |

Consciousness doesn't begin or end in the brain. Consciousness is everywhere all around us. Consciousness is literally another realm that all of us upload to and download from - including the animal kingdom - and possibly beyond that too. Think starling murmurations, shoals of fish, ant colonies, beehives etc. The brain serves as a transponder to filter / mediate that consciousness. That other realm is one we'll all return to before returning back here to Earth in a new life in the future - or perhaps to another world even. The realm we live in and think is reality, is only a small piece in a gargantuan jigsaw of another infinite reality. Everything balances itself out ultimately. The realm we live in is soulschool. Do your best, be noble. |
