The coworker that fired the shot made Wisconsin's Most Wanted list. From my lens he is the good guy, but he is a convicted Felon that was not allowed to own a firearm. He was defending his coworkers not knowing they had staged the robbery and I feel bad for him. Not so much for the 16yr that he accidently shot, as she was the one who set this up. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72497887 He was defending his coworkers not knowing they had staged the robbery and I feel bad for him. Not so much for the 16yr that he accidently shot, as she was the one who set this up. The story presented by OP is convoluted. Guy named Edwards pulls up to the drive through window, reaches in with a gun while Edwards daughters bestfriend Brazell, was working the cash register. It was part of a scheme between Edwards, his daughter(not named?) and Brazell. The whole thing took too long, and Brazell backed down from the plan, but by then Ellis(who was not involved with the conspiracy) seen what was going on and fired at Edwards, recklessly hitting Brazell and killing her. Ellis is being charged with a) owning a firearm while being a felon. b) reckless discharge of a firearm. I doubt Ellis will be charged with the murder, as Brazell was an accomplish to a criminal conspiracy. So for her death, Edward's and his daughter are most likely to be charged(not a lawyer; prior cases of home invasions/robberies, were one of the robbers is shot and killed, the other robbers and even the getaway driver are charged with the death). [link to www.nbc26.com (secure)] Ellis isn't being charged with killing Brazell; he is being charged with what he appears to be guilty of(illegal firearm possession, and reckless discharge of a firearm). In all honesty, the DA is using a generous application of lube, and a small object on Ellis. Ellis could of been charged with fleeing. He could of been charged with evidence tampering, and depending on state law's could of been charged with leaving Brazell to die/not calling the police. |
