I feel so sorry for all of the small business owners in these cities doing this stupidity. Vaccine doesn't work. Doesn't prevent disease. Doesn't prevent transmission or infection. So what is the point?

This does nothing for safety and everything just to kill tourism, business, nightlife, etc.

We were once a manufacturing economy. We MADE things. And somewhere along the way, market forces, economic pressures, trade agreements and the like made us a service based economy... and so we became one.

And then now this. Business is already HARD. Anyone who says otherwise has never owned a small business. You need EVERY customer you can get.

And now, but decree (one that lacks all sense of logic or reason to begin with), half of these businesses customers just "aren't allowed."

It's sad but it will backfire. When sales tax revenues fall, and these local governments finally feel it in THIER pocket books (fed relief money can't go on forever), then maybe we will see a change.

I just hope all of the small business owners find a way to make it through to then.
