That's what they did in Japan. Many families actually had old corpses hidden in their houses (no yard to bury them) still collecting social insurance. That is why we thought Jap. life expectancy was so high. |

This has created an interesting situation where people hold onto the dead bodies of family and collect pensions until they get to old and become suspicious. You can't be 115 and not have the press wanting to interview the oldest person in Japan so they usually report them dead in their late 90s.
