Up until a certain point in my life (late teens really) probably. After that, I turned hate into pity for the other. Hate is a waste of ones 'feelings ratio', while pity is a simpler, and less personally stressful to me.

I try no to dwell on those memories. All I will say is it involves North Vietnamese during a period in my life that I didn't know from day to day, sometimes minute to minute; if I was going to live.
Then carrying a dead brother for 4 days so we could get evac'd from our predicament. I saved bullets in my pistol but was damn near out of everything else.

And the fucking kicker to all this is if you look at my records and the records of others that were with me, we were never in the fuckhole of a country that killed and wounded several of us.

So you can add the fucking government to that short list also.
