Looking To Get My Vitamin D3 Levels Check. Need GLPer Help

The evil phuck Beezos sells a bunch of D3 test kits that look pretty good.

If you have health insurance, they may cover it (some don't).

In my case, I was severely Vitamin D deficient.

I took 4000 IU every morning for about 6 months and my levels normalized.

95% of all people in the USA are Vitamin D deficient. So, Vitamin D level checked.

I speak from experience, working in a large family practice for years, we tested everyone's Vit D level with a yearly physical & for the last 15 years, everyone not taking supplemental Vit D on a daily basis had a low Vitamin D level. Even construction workers who work in the sun all summer long!

As to why everyone's Vit D is low, we have theories, but no actual proof. So, until we know the reason why & can reverse it, everyone is better off just taking 5,000 units of Vitamin D daily! Test costs are ridiculous, about 70.00 last time I checked & Insurance companies are beginning to bulk at paying for it.

Why do the insurance companies NOT want Docs to test a Vitamin D level? COVID gives us a few new theories. Up is down & down is up. Makes no sense since adequate Vitamin D levels pretty much insures no COVID infection. So, just take the damn stuff on a regular basis until you are told not to anymore!
