Woodman's West is only 5 min from Costco in Middleton. Woodman's Sun Prairie in across the street from Costco Sun Prairie. Woodman's has a larger selection of high quality local organic food including Grass-Fed beef than Costco. Lots of local Wisconsin-Made products too. I buy my Grass-Fed "Wisconsin Meadows" beef there. Employee-Owned, and they are great. 5yrs ago I asked them to begin carrying Wisconsin Made "Grove" lump charcoal(Cedar Grove Wi) and it is now a big seller. They carry locally roasted "Cafe Fair"(Monona) coffee, and beat Amazon's price on "Brain Octane Oil"(MCT Oil) for my coffee. Costco's owner bragged about being a HUGE Obama donor. I remember Costco pulling conservative books off their shelves during the Obama regime too. Fuck Costco. Woodmans is the BEST STORE EVER!!! If they don't sell it, they will order anything for you. No stupid shopper cards, no other gimmicks, they keep prices low because they don't do all that crap and they don't do credit cards. They usially have the lowest price on gas too. |

Woodman's prices are so good they have gotten in trouble with manufactures for selling Below the manufactures recommended prices. Woodman's has balls too. I have seen signs saying despite manufactures threatening to pull products due to their prices being so low, Woodmans would not raise the prices. At the beginning of the lockdown the Dane County Health Dept(Commies!) wanted them to stop selling self-serv bulk coffee(Best Price Anywhere on Organic Coffee!). Woodman's kept selling it until they were threatened, and then they placed a smartass sign up making it very clear they did not like those commies. I still bought the bulk coffee and no one said a thing. Employees are great there. I have not been in Woodmans in 6 weeks as a family member has been doing the shopping as of late, but a Mexican guy I know said he Never wears a mask and no one says a thing. Wisconsin-Owned Kwik Trip never says a thing when I go in there for tobacco chew without a mask. I have stood in line without a mask behind a Madison Cop in Kwik Trip and the Cop did not say a thing. I love shopping by Bicycle at Locally Owned Woodman's and Kwik Trip on my Wisconsin-Made 2004 Gary Fisher Bicycle. I have a car too, but that is less fun. |

Quoting: WiscoSteve Dude just clicked his clicker and didn't say a word. Saw 10-15 employees, ,none said a word. Checked out, not a peep. Was leaving and the lady doing the receipt check made a big show by practically falling over keeping her distance from me. LOL! Anyways, yep, they no longer enforce it. .
