It is not clear if they were infected, so much as quarantine as a measure to ensure they were not going to infect anymore monkeys with anything unknown.

I am sort of surprised monkeys are being brought in. There are so many monkeys already in the USA, all out of sight of the general public, most live in labs and in secluded places far from regularly traveled public roads.

this reminds me of the twelve monkeys show. they wont stop until everyone is dead except for 500 million ppl like they engraved on the georgia guidestones

How many were injured and what were the injuries?
