It was not required, so I didn't test. I DID NOT get sick. To test , I assume, was to take a risk AND give them another chance at another false positive result. Nope. My sister's baby was in the NICU in August 2020 in Indiana. They only let one of them in at a time, but no time limits. The nurses even said there was no reason to worry about covid, only rsv. He asked what they would specifically do for him medically if he tested positive. The answer was nothing. He questioned, then what is the point of the test? No answer. I'm sorry to both no matter what. That sounds insane. I'm pregnant, due end of May, I know I will refuse a test if they ask. I wish I could home birth, but there's a good chance my baby will need some medicine to help him after birth. My daughter needed it 4 years ago but I was allowed to stay in hospital and breastfeed her every 2 hours for 2 weeks till they discharged her. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 81941658 Michigan. I refused the test but they coerced me. Saying they’d treat me and baby as positive if I didn’t test and have to gown up every time they entered the room. I didn’t want the staff having resentment towards my baby, because they might be mean to him, so i agreed to the test. But only after seeing their test was a regular swab and lab tube. Nothing from the government and not pcr test. Thought I side stepped their tyranny til they told me I’d have to leave but not the baby. It was the most awful experience. It ruined my entire joyful experience. But I learned the type of war we are in against tyranny. It is worse than a lot of you know yet.
