However, Moscow and Beijing will play the world stage to suit their own interests. That's to be expected. The US and NATO/EU will do the same too. But Ukraine is in Moscow's backyard, not Washington DC's.

Beijing has also hollered like deranged war hawks over the past few years. Moscow hasn't.

Taiwan also is very different from Ukraine.

Trump wasn't right about it at all. Germany only uses Natural gas to produce 20% of its energy. It gets 60% of its natural gas from Russia.
