His comeback against the Cleveland Browns in 2009, for Detroit Lions first win that season. They went 2-14.

This was Stafford's first big moment as the starting quarterback of the Detroit Lions. It came in a Week 11 contest against the Browns during his rookie season.

He spearheaded a come-from-behind win in the tilt -- the first fourth-quarter comeback and game-winning drive of his NFL career -- despite having injured his shoulder on the second-to-last play of the final drive.

He refused to leave the game after taking the injury-causing hit from then-Browns defensive lineman C.J. Mosley, and got right back under center.

On that same play, a defensive pass interference penalty was called against Cleveland, resulting in one final play for Stafford & Co. with 0:00 on the clock. 

Stafford took full advantage of the extra play, and found then-Detroit tight end Brandon Pettigrew on a one-yard pass for the game-winning score. It gave the Lions the 38-37 victory, and marked Stafford's second career win as an NFL starter.

At the press conference, Detroit's head coach said Matthew Stafford's best play was eluding four team doctors to get back on the field.

An interesting stat that I came across was that Stafford doesn't actually face a very high pressure rate when blitzed. He's much more prone to face pressure in non-blitz scenarios, and that's when the turnovers happen. So that says the Rams and Stafford are good at identifying the blitz and setting protections, making sure they are in a play that can take advantage of it, and Stafford is good at getting the ball out before pressure gets there. That's good coaching and smart QB play.

I heard someone on the radio today say Stafford couldn’t hold Burrow’s jock when it comes to having the “it factor”. Then he said Stafford was so lucky because the Cowboys and Packers lost and he didn’t have to face them. But he beat Tom Brady and the defending Super Bowl champions on the road and today he beat the team that beat those teams.
