Doomscrolling was a lot harder in the early 80's using Usenet instead of the 'web'. 40+ years ago I was (doom)prepping for the USSR breakup in text mode. :)

Taking in warning information because the government has gotten us in a mess and we wonder what other mess they are going to do at any moment.

I like how doomscrolling on GLP only takes 1 hand.

LOL! The study said their main source was following twitter feeds. We know it is GLP.

What I have noticed with following doom, is after a while it just does not shock you anymore. You stop worry about the world, while fascinated with what will happen next. BUt, they are correct, You do start to look at other sites you can do to improve your situations that is positive.

Like I have learned how to garden some, raise chickens, improve my health (still in progress) and consider tiny home living and downsizing or how to invest a little more wisely. And, I still take time to look at silly memes and cute animals.

Doom and laughter combined!
