Anybody Else Having Problems with Credit Cards Today? Cash Only Signs at Stores?

Went to Subway for a sammich on friday and they were cash only.

I told the sammich artist that I prefer to pay cash anyway.

I'm having huge CC problems since none will raise my debt ceiling and I've maxxed out & defaulted on all 10 of them. Bet I'm not the only one, it's going to get much worse, and I tell them all as they call 3 words explain this; "Let's Go Brandon." and hang up.

I only use cash, except for online purchases.

I never understood the BS about the speed and convince of cards for purchases. You always have to wait on the cardtards in line. It takes them longer to process that card, then it does for me to hand them cash and the cashier to make change.

Even worse when the idiots are using cards to buy a soda and a bag a chips. F the cardtards.

I tried to take out $100,000 in cash the ATM would only give me $400

A few days ago in Missouri Dollar General Store. There was a sign in front that said 'Cash Only'. The clerk said he was waiting on someone to come and fix the machines that process the cards. They were all down.

Yes had to go three stores before I found a working machine.

Tampa area, went to Target first, Apple Pay didn't work on first attempt so i used physical debit card (different account) and went through with cash back. Then stopped for gas at Mobil: Apple Pay failed both on the pump and Mobil app, and physical card didn't work in the pump. Didn't need gas that badly so that's as far as I've gotten.

Oh now they want cash!

Guarantee these businesses are full of shit! Had it happen to me several times…last time it happened was in a pizza place and they told me AFTER I ate…”our credit card system is down BUT our Mac machine right over there gives cash”…I was like you dirty pricks! That meal cost me $5.00 extra in Mac fees and my bank charge. I was pissed and gave no tip.

Oh and some try it with gift cards also “there is a zero balance on this” or “that card cannot be accessed at this time”
