Weird thing just happened to me Louie Anderson "chose death"?

I was at the gym on the elliptical and there's lots of the I just happen to look up and they're showing whatever that game show is where the celebrities help the contestants and swear to God the second I look it all I see is Louie Anderson and the captioning had the words "chose death" no idea the context of the rest of the sentence that's all I saw.
