Energy is already very expensive in Germany because of the climate agenda which is in fact just a code word for "fight against over-population".

Europe really has some fucked up and complicated history (of which I know just a teeny tiny fraction) and it all impacts relationships today, as well as more practical considerations like trade. The scars that eastern Europe has from communism are so deep that they are easily manipulated by the west in any campaign against Russia. That's exactly how it was done in Ukraine in the Maidan coup.
