That is the trap, to live this life without realising what you actually are. I have been enlightened since 2008 and I had a NDE in 2010. I floated away from my lifeless body and went through a bluish tunnel or wormhole of some description. I came to an apparent standstill in what I can only describe as peace and love, a feeling of wholeness - home. I didn't see any family or 'persons' I felt a voice and a presence that said to me 'You have accomplished all you went to do, you can stay here if you want to, you are home now. While I could feel the voice, I could see everything in my life as an enveloping hologram around me, scenes changing at the speed of my thoughts and how non of anything mattered. The only thing I wanted to go back for was the reason I felt at home in the afterworld/dimension, LOVE. I communicated I wanted to go back for my family, next thing you know I'm back in my body 120ft underwater after being unconscious for what felt like hours but could of only been seconds/minutes... Regarding reincarnation - I think it's a levels thing. Once you get to the final level and you attain 'god consciousness' as they call it. You have climbed Jacobs ladder and ascended the stairway to heaven.
