It makes my head hurt how psychologically twisted all these FE arguments are in every single thread or discussion they join. No, you are not specially endowed with an enlightened perception of how things really are while also admittedly, or ignornantly, not understanding even a fraction of the underlying science and technology you are disputing or promoting. All the "proofs" are reductionist nonsense fighting against strawmen to give the appearance of legitimate strength, it's quite literally insane the mental contortions neccessary to consider them foundationally strong arguments.

Besides the idiots suckered in with promise of ego inflation, I think most of the main driving force keeping these inane narratives alive have to be willful agents of chaos reveling in their distortions of the truth. I know the saying goes, don't attribute to malice what can be more easily attributed to ignorance, but I think it is obvious both are equally at play in this instance and ultimately can be rightly conflated as the same thing; the malicious have only a semblance of intelligence and the ignorant only a semblance of innocence.

First, to imagine earth is indeed flat 9ne should be able to point out other flat Heavenly bodies.
But none have ever been found, nor will they ever find any.

It's stupid to imagine things never seen before and ignore what is.

Every single netflix-funded documentary is nothing but globalist propaganda. Why would this be different? Why would Netflix (Obama, Susan Rice, etc) even fund a documentary that's only purpose was to debunk flat earth?

One thing I noticed with A LOT of flat earth videos was this music they play. Its symphonic/ochestral pieces that you'd hear in a movie during climactic scenes, and the crescendo of the music would always rise and fall with the points they were making. So every time they'd show you some big proof, there was the climactic music trumpeting away, then it would die down while they made their way to the next proof. Admittedly Eric Dbay doesn't do this. He is one of the only ones that doesn't.

Oh look, another strawman... imagine that. I get my truth straight from the source, the spiritual wellspring above all that was, is, or will be, the very same Seven burning before the Throne. CNN is about as trustworthy of a source as you (aka not at all), and Wikipedia is about as authoritative as far as you can throw it.

I have looked into your "arguments" but since I have a some understanding of simple logic and a comprehension of math passed basic Cartesian geometry, they always fall flat with even the slightest bit of scrutiny.

The article is from 2019, but just came across it.

"A group of Flat Earthers, who starred in the new Netflix documentary called Behind the Curve, put this lump of cash to work trying to prove the Earth is flat. Unfortunately for them, they ended up accomplishing the opposite...betting on a $20,000 laser gyroscope to prove the Earth is flat. But, that didn’t happen."

So, they invested $20,000 in an intricate modern laser gyroscope, and got surprised it didn't produce the results they expected when they turned the thing on.

You are looking at it directly with your own eyes .

Sigh.

Why can't the Earth be modelled accurately on a flat map (Do not fold, spindle, or mutilate) if it was, itself, flat?

[link to geoawesomeness.com (secure)]

Why can't you get the distances between cities worldwide to be modelled correctly on a flat map?

How can there be direct flights between Africa, South America, and Australia on a flat Earth? The distances become far too great for flights that exist.

Why are great Circle routes used in long-distance aircraft navigation?

Why has spherical trignometry been used to navigate the Earth, for centuries?

Why do Foucault pendulums precess?

On a flat Earth, where does Coriolis come from?

Why are all the other planets we can observe spheres?

Why is the shadow of the Earth when the Moon is eclipsed a sphere?

Why do constellations in the Southern Hemisphere circle a different point than the constellations in the Northern hemisphere on a flat Earth?

Heck, why are there different Southern Constellations on a flat Earth?

Everything we see in the sky comforts to a spherical earth.....from sunsets to the angle to the noon sun....opposing rotation of the stars north and south of the equator....lunar and solar eclipses....

If the earth is flat.....then the sky is a magical hologram that adjusts to the viewers perspective.....for the sole purpose of deceiving us into thinking we're on the surface of a sphere....

Why would God try to fool us into thinking we're on a globe.....??

yea you're bound to find some ridiculous things when you listen to a fake flat earther.
the flat earth society is controlled opposition, if you look into FE and you dont even get deep enough to learn about the black swan and the sextant, you're just fooling yourself.
ring laser gyro sounds fancy but it doesnt prove anything.

part of the magic spell you are under is thinking that
technology = science
when in reality its
science + MAN = technology. science is the antecedent of tech, not the other way around.

No it didn't. But i can admit i didn't understand Bob's answer to the experiemnt to explain why. Went right over my head.

Does it not bother you that your religion doesn't have a measurement? We're in the year 2022 btw just let that sink in a little. 8 inches per mile squared of curvature measurements..........

But but we have lights in the sky that move! we must be on a spinning water ball!

We don't know the shape of earth, but with water always seeking its level at rest, we know it aint a bloody BALL!
