Kamala would have to step down to be nominated to the Supreme Court....
Biden would have to then nominate a VP Replacement also....
If Kamala steps down... the Senate is tied 50-50 with no deciding vote on EITHER VP Nominee and the Supreme Court Nominee....
Ties up a deadlocked Senate business with both the Supreme Court Nominee AND VP Replacement until AFTER 2022 elections.....When Dems will probably not control it anymore....
Quoting: 7.62x39 Gonna correct you. She does not need to step down.. She gets nominated for SC. Senate votes her in. If it's 50-50 she breaks the tie. She resigns as VP and goes on the court. Biden nominates a new VP. The House votes on it. The New VP takes office.
