Kamala would have to step down to be nominated to the Supreme Court....
Biden would have to then nominate a VP Replacement also....
If Kamala steps down... the Senate is tied 50-50 with no deciding vote on EITHER VP Nominee and the Supreme Court Nominee....
Ties up a deadlocked Senate business with both the Supreme Court Nominee AND VP Replacement until AFTER 2022 elections.....When Dems will probably not control it anymore....
Quoting: 7.62x39 Math didn't stop Biden getting the Presidential nomination or winning the Presidential election. Since when does anyone need to resign or step down to be nominated? and there is and will always be an acting VP chairing the Senate with a deciding vote.
