Listen, I 100% believe we're entering some hard, sh*t, horrendous times ahead.

But also, how many of us are missing out on forward movement due to the constant fear of what's ahead?

How many of us are wasting time on the GLP /other news feeds.

I can't tell you how many times DOOM has distracted me.

How many times I could have been focusing on my wellbeing, my family, my business, my anything other than the doom that's 100% out of my control.

It's not that I think ignorance is bliss. It's that I think knowing everything at all times, every single damn source of doom is torture.

We absolutely need balance in this.

I guess I'm just to the point that I either get the fu(k back on the forward movement horse or society needs to collapse.

What if we're wrong? What if the dollar doesn't collapse? What if we never get rounded up for not taking the jab? What if insert whatever it is you're nervous system is hyper focusing on?

How many of you are genuinely losing income, sleep, relationships, mental health, potential for growth, stability, happiness, & beyond because you can't stop looking, reading, worrying, & obsessing?

At what point is watching for what's potentially coming the actual distraction?

The thing they are using as a tool for you to destroy yourself.

The thing that makes you weakened, fall below the poverty level, to riddled with stress to thrive?

Yep, I think this is all as insidious as it feels.

So, uh, this AC hopes you all will take a step back & find your forward movement away from the doom.

Me? I'm stepping out of these realms & back into reality, if something serious enough happens that I need to know about I will through real human connection.

P.S. blocksite is free & will help you break your addiction to looking at this site/all other news that's slamming your dopamine receptors.

Thank you for this post. I think these are words I needed to hear as I find myself obsessively checking GLP daily for my doom fix and as maybe a way of justifying my feelings of depression and anxiety - rather than finding constructive ways of actually dealing with it. As much as I hate to do it (addicted) I may need to use that site you mentioned to get some distance from GLP as I do not think it’s been the healthiest outlet for me over the past few years. Thanks for the good advice!
