The movement is grassroots. Lots of shady orgs of all political stripes and flavors will try to take credit, insert themselves and hijack what is being built by the people. It's what they do. Just because an org with a bad reputation supports something doesn't make the whole thing bad. I have no doubt there are organizations that are being opportunistic and want to use this to their advantage, but that doesn't make the movement theirs. Not if we stand strong.
