Did you know the Queen is still known as the "Duke of Normandy" in the Channel Islands (where GLP is incorporated...).

The historical Normandy territory isn't that far from Orleans.

She was welcomed when she visited Northern France, some in the crowd greeted her as the Duke of Normandy.

The British are probably more French ethnic wise than from any other EU country.

What is ironic is the UK is a "European Union" that actually works. The people here are a mixture of all the European countries and the British Empire sucking in the brightest and best who wanted to better themselves, and all the historic invaders, vikings, normans, danes, romans, oranges, etc.

Unlike the actual European Union we spread the wealth around to Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
