What is evil?

It is a disconnection of man from mankind.

It is a selfishness so extreme that all sense of apathy has disappeared. There is no thought of consequence regarding their actions towards another living being. All that matters is the satisfication of their wants and desires.

It doesn’t matter who or what is destroyed in the process, just that their hunger is satiated.

It is a giving in to your primal self without regard.

Before pearl harbour, the Japanese had stated that America was a nation of pleasure seekers.

That description does not apply to just America today, but our society as a whole. All you see and hear in our movies/music/television is an amplification and confirmation of those words. Sex, sex and more sex and violence permeates all forms of entertainment on a massive scale. It’s to the point where they are causing you to question your sexual identity, and breaking down your moral resolve to make you more like them.

Adam was in Eden. He was the pinnacle of creation. He wanted to be God. He wanted to know both good and evil. He was punished and thrown down to earth, where he would have to choose between evil and good.

Lucifer is mentioned only once in the bible and in that chapter we learn that he was a man. That he was in Eden. That he was the most beautiful of all creation. That he anted to be God. Was thrown out of Eden onto the earth. That he died and went to hell.

Lucifer is Adam.

We all carry satan inside of us. The story of the devil on one shoulder and an angel on the other is symbolism for the duality of good vs. evil that all men carry inside of them. We are on earth so that our free will can be tested. This is why you are born into sin and unless you accept Yahshua as savior you are doomed. Satan is your carnal mind and the little voice you hear inside of you edging you to do evil is your own satan voice. It is better to listen to your good voice.

If all men were to die today, evil would die with them. We are however like children, in that we cannot seem to face the ramifications for our own actions. Many killers have blamed their actions on forces outside of themselves. Voices in their head. THEY killed but still would blame others. Like children.

The disciple Peter wanted to save Jesus from being crucified, but Jesus knowing that it had to be done said to Peter.

Peter, like all of us had satan inside.

Adam/satan was given dominion over this earth and each one of us have to choose for ourselves between good and evil. This is why God mostly only observes us, because the choice we have to make is ours to make.

Repentance means to have a change of mind. Have you never changed your mind on a matter or act? Have you felt no sorrow At something you said, or did or used to believe? I would say most definitely you have. And that that sorrow led you to have a change of mind (repentance)….and some of the sorrow was simply worldly sorrow (getting caught or exposed) but never ever led you to have a change of mind (no repentance).

A change of mind is to go from one standing to another. You move away from it and choose a new path.

9And now I rejoice, not because you were made sorrowful, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you felt the sorrow that God had intended….10 Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation without regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.

Even your own experiences tells you the above is truth. You’ve had both worldly sorrow and godly sorrow. The latter led you to repentance.
