He will die in jail. He had more than a few years held in inhumane conditions even when you consider what this animal did.

He isn't a 'political prisoner'. He is a violent criminal that is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt and I hope he dies in jail soon. We have wasted enough money keeping his murderous ass alive.

What right do you have to call Leonard an animal? You cant possibly know him and all you ever read was predjudiced news articles and propaganda. The star witness had a brother in the big house on possession of drugs charges and was told he would die if she didnt testify against Leonard. He want anywhere near the two agents. If they were the ones who murdered Anna Mae Aquash, then they deserved to die.

Anna Mae was a young Ojibwe woman who left two sweet little girls with her MoM and she came down to Lakota Land to help AIM out. She was sent a message to meet someone and we found her dead by the roadside. The Fibs showed up and cut off her hands and mailed them to a crime lab for fingerpriting. This was typical of them because her old Mom would think she would be without hands in Eternity.

They arrested a lokota man for her murder. Then they buried her. We got a collection up and got her exhumed and asked a Medical Examiner to find cause of death. It was an FIB bullit in the back of the bones of her skull. Typical for what the action was.
The movie "Thunderheart"with Val Kilmer did a good job of portraying those days, It is very accurate and they had AIM advisors. In one scene they throw an old Medicine Man out of a sweat lodge for praying, and broke his age-old sacred things, a reminder of what Leonard and the rest of us were fighting for: We did NOT have freedom of religion until 1974.
