2 above right now with full sunshine.

And the freezing rain begins.

Middle TN, Nashville area 38 degrees rain

And the snow begins, I'd much rather have a foot of snow than an inch of ice!

Windy but 75 degrees here.

Freezing rain and sleet finally gave way to snow here. NWS still has us in the 5" to 7" area, so we still have a ways to go yet. Ended up with a total of 1/8" of ice.

My tree falls on high power lines, explosion, 25 brownouts before the total fall. Power's now out everywhere here by Memphis, TN. Good thing I serviced my 10K Durastar generator!! It's kicking arse.

Bundled up and took the dog out for a walk in the storm. It was a mix of sleet and snow when we went out.

Check out the reflections on the brick. That's a solid sheet of 1/8" ice on the north wall of our house.

Sleet since early morning, with an accumulation

Streets are covered, and I haven't seen the plow trucks.
Not much traffic here, most people are staying off the roads.

been rain. little sleet off/on. finally dropped below 30. local news saying 6" coming yet. surprised the warm air made it this far north. melted more than it put down.

NY-PA border is just wet.

I wonder how expensive this bill will be - we just called a tech in to drive an hour in the snow to fix our heater. Oh dear...

It is STILL snowing here! We've been at level 3 all day. Tried shoveling earlier, but it didn't matter. Filled right in shortly after. We're just shy of calling it a blizzard, according to Cleveland's weather report. Doesn't really look like it here, but we're not in the open. No one in the neighborhood is out. Just seeing plow trucks.

Yep. Keeping an eye on the chaser from Toledo. He's just across the bay from us in Port Clinton. Hope he doesn't try to go over the bridge. Don't think that'd be a good idea. Terrible in this kind of weather.

OMG, we made the RYAN HALL feed. montour is just up the road a bit. more snow there thou, closer to the finger lakes.

Just foggy and damp here in southeastern Massachusetts where I'm staying tonight.

Need to make it to western MA and then on home to NH tomorrow morning, if I time everything right I should avoid the ice.
