We like to be ready for anything. Mostly I just like an excuse to bake all day. Once it warms up, I'll be too busy gardening to do much in the kitchen other than regular meals and canning. I got way more into homemaking since the pandemic hit. It keeps me sane. Goodbye, halcyon days... There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory mentioned, which states that this has already happened. |

Also saw some dude out on a dirt bike on the icy roads. He only dumped it twice that I saw...lol. |

This area has multiple expressways that converge there, making it a prime area to travel through when trafficking of drug running, straight shot from many areas to Louisville, Indianapolis, and to Chicago. I travel this 2x per week and have noticed the road construction is controlling the routes to and from these areas. I have also toured the giant underground tunnel in Louisville, and find it hard to believe it is not connected to the DUMBs somehow. I know for a fact trafficking is rampant in this area, as I have heard from people in the area that it is a problem and have seen alerts for kids gone missing. STAY AWAY FROM WALMART WITH KIDS IF IN THIS AREA. |

We still have so much old growth trees through out the city. MLGW is pretty good about getting power back up but this is going to be one hell of a cluster. I only have (3) 5 gallon gas cans full. 3-4 days tops. Luckily i have gas appliances. Stay safe yall. Remember to crack your outside spigots so they dont freeze |

We have moderate rain at the moment, but snow and ice are showing up on the radar at the Indiana/Illinois border and snow in NW Indiana. Current forecast says 6" to 8" of snow plus 1/10" to 2/10" of ice for our location. Everybody stay safe out there, and don't forget to stock up on your french toast ingredients! North of Cincinnati here. Supposed to rain all day today, through midnight when temp drops and starts turning to sleet and ice. Forecast is up to half inch of ice total, maybe some snow as well.
